For Beccy & Ben’s pre-wedding shoot we had an explore of Beccy’s family farm in the Cambridgeshire countryside. We had a walk over the winter wheat, explored the tracks up the hill to last year’s haystack, found a patch of oil seed rape to use their bright yellow flowers, wandered through a small patch of woodland, ambled along the country lane and stopped by their garden pond and got creative with reflections. It’s lovely to tie in a pre-wedding shoot to a location that has meaning and memories, whether it’s family land or spaces the couple have explored and loved together. This was also a great opportunity for me to see the lie of the land and explore local locations, as Beccy and Ben would be having their wedding reception in a marquee on the parent’s lawn later that summer.
