Charlotte & Charles’ Newnham College wedding began with capturing a few details and personal touches adoring the main dining room, before popping up to visit Charlotte who was getting ready with her bridesmaids in the college accommodation. The room was filled with light and laughter, and the ladies had a relaxed morning getting ready and popping the Prosecco. Charles arrived to greet the guests who began assembling in the incredible gardens. The lawn was laid out with chairs ready for the ceremony, while the sun poured its warmth over the festival of colour in the flower beds. Charlotte made her entrance and the ceremony took place under the blue sky adorned with white fluffy clouds. After the ceremony guests showered the newlyweds with confetti before making their way to another lawn where drinks and canapés were served. We made time for a few family group photos under the shade of some tall trees, before guests then gathered on the lawn for the speeches. When it was time for the guests to head inside and take their seats for the wedding breakfast, we slipped away with Charlotte and Charles for a few quick relaxed portraits, before then welcoming them into the room. The wedding party then enjoyed some exceptional food, courtesy of the college caterers, and then relaxed as the evening drew near. We made some more time for some portraits of the happy couple, making the most of the best light of the day, which is nearly always the hour or so before sunset. We then transitioned into the party part of the day, with a DJ pumping out the tunes to keep guests enjoying the dance floor.
