I believe the best photos happen when you’ve forgotten I’m there. My style is rooted in my background as a press photojournalist, where I learnt to anticipate the moment and create engaging, story telling images. I focus on the genuine laughs, the quiet nerves, and the "in-between" moments that tell the true story of your day. That's where the magic happens. Of course, I still take some family and group photos–but keep things moving quickly so you're soon back to your party and not missing out. I time your portraits to tie in with your schedule, so no one even notices you are missing. We'll keep it natural and relaxed, and I'll offer some prompts to help create a selection of beautiful portraits without you feeling like you need to perform.

My Photography Journey:
With 20 years behind the camera – shooting newspaper front pages, glossy magazine features, brand campaigns and hundreds of weddings – this isn't my first rodeo.
My career began in 2006 in the fast-paced world of press photojournalism. Working for six years on a busy regional newspaper taught me the most valuable skill a wedding photographer can have: the ability to anticipate a moment before it happens. In the newsroom, there are no “second takes” – you have to be fast, invisible, and technically perfect on the first click of the shutter.
Since learning my trade as an award-winning press photographer, I had a spell working for the UK’s biggest photography magazine. Following that I have spent the last 11 years working as an established commercial and wedding photographer.
Today, as a Cambridge Wedding Photographer, I bring my journalistic approach to your wedding day. Whether I’m navigating the low light of a historic Cambridge College or the unpredictable energy of a marquee reception, my background ensures I remain a calm, capable presence. I’m not there to direct your day or turn your celebration into a photoshoot; I’m there to document your history as it happens, naturally and effortlessly.
