Natural, documentary-style wedding photography that tells the story of your day

Hello there! My name’s Ben and I’m a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer. I offer contemporary and relaxed wedding photography for couples who want natural images of their big day. My wedding photography style is a mixture of reportage with a bit of the traditional included too. I like to record real moments and unguarded emotions, and capture all the fun as it unfolds while blending into the background as much as possible.

As a wedding photographer in Peterborough I photograph weddings across Cambridgeshire, Rutland, Northamptonshire, Norfolk, Essex and London, as well as much further afield.  I’ve been a professional photographer for 11 years, and have been capturing couples saying ‘I do’ since 2008. Whether you’re planning on holding your ceremony in a quaint church, an old country house or maybe in a wildflower meadow I’d love to chat to you more about your plans; so have a look through my portfolio and if you like what you see then please get in touch!

If you’re searching for a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer then I’d suggest taking a look at my guide for Choosing a wedding photographer. It offers advice on things to consider and to ask your photographer before booking someone for your big day. If you’d like to know a little bit more about me, the style of wedding photography I offer and how it all works then you can find out lots more within the Info menu. To find out even more, why not send me a message!

Visit my blog to take a look at the most recent weddings I’ve photographed. It’s a great way to take a closer look at my work and my style of wedding photography. I always try and post a good mixture of shots from the entire day, as when you’re looking for a wedding photographer I think it’s important to get a good understanding of the type of wedding photography on offer before booking.

I’m always eager to share what I’ve been up to as a Cambridgeshire wedding photographer. I’ll usually post links to the blog on my social media pages so guests from the wedding can easily look through a selection of pictures and relive the day. Most recently I’ve photographed weddings in Cambridgeshire, Stamford, Rutland, Essex and London, and you can view these on my blog now.

Ben - what can we say. You were perfect for our day. Your attention to detail meant the right shots were captured and yet you commanded the wedding guests and ourselves so effortlessly, in a relaxed manner. Your warm smile was much appreciated especially during the more rapid and intense turnovers in our wedding. You kept up with the pace, the mix of cultures in our Anglo-Indian wedding and blended in like a regular wedding guest. We cannot recommend you enough to other couples. A truly talented, inconspicuous yet assertive, friendly photographer.

Payal & Danny

Ben was amazing from start to finish, from a relaxed meeting before our wedding day (which made us realise just how much we hadn't thought about!) to the phenomenal photos he delivered! On the day Ben slipped into the background like a real pro - we have no idea how he captured so many moments. Friendly, professional and an eye for capturing a feeling - very impressive! We would recommend him to everyone. Thank you for being a part of our day and giving us the gift of memory!

Emma & Ted

We have received our pictures and they are FANTASTIC! We love them - you did a wonderful job at capturing the mood of the day, all our guests, and us! A great mix of traditional and artistic shots, with lots of variety and fun, and they are all beautifully done - the quality is amazing. It brings back great memories and we will treasure them forever.

Anna & Jack

Ben's a brilliant, creative photographer and he worked incredibly hard to produce some amazing wedding shots that we're absolutely delighted with. It's difficult to imagine that many wedding photographers are as helpful, flexible and accommodating as Ben, and in terms of quality, value and overall service, we simply couldn't have asked for more.

Lisa & Ed

Well you're definitely in the right profession Ben, the pictures are excellent – we love them! They're just what we wanted, nothing too staged and lots of fun. And the USB was a nice touch, very cool. Thanks so much!

Jamie & Anahita

Our wedding day was the most amazing day and thanks to Ben we have it perfectly recorded. Ben was professional, confident and in control. He captured exactly what we asked for, in fact he exceeded our expectations. He has a great eye for detail and worked very discreetly to achieve natural, fun shots which mirrored the feeling of the day. We definitely recommend Ben and will encourage others to use him as their photographer.
