Pre-Wedding Session
£250
The "icebreaker." A relaxed, 90-minute session in a location that means something to you. It’s the perfect way to get comfortable in front of my camera before the wedding day.
Why the Pre-Wedding Session Matters
Think of this as a rehearsal without the pressure. It’s a chance for us to find your "angles," learn how you move together, and create some beautiful, casual imagery that isn't in your wedding attire. Most importantly, it ensures that when I show up on your wedding morning, I’m a familiar face, not a stranger with a camera.
“How do we book?”
To keep things simple and fair, a signed contract and a £300 booking fee secure your date on my calendar. But first, we’ll have a chat to discuss your plans in detail.

How do we secure our date?
To officially join my calendar, I require a signed digital contract and a 25% non-refundable retainer. Once these are in place, the date is exclusively yours and I stop taking further inquiries for that day.
When will we receive our photographs?
I know the anticipation is significant. You will receive a “Sneak Peek” gallery of 20–30 images within a few working days of your wedding. Your complete, hand-edited collection will be delivered via your private online sanctuary within 6–8 weeks.
Do you travel for weddings?
Absolutely. I am inspired by new horizons and frequently document stories across the UK and occasionally overseas. Travel within 100 miles of Cambridge is included in all collections; for celebrations further afield, I provide a bespoke, transparent travel quote with no hidden surprises.
What happens if it rains?
Some of the most evocative, editorial portraits I have ever taken occurred in the rain. I always scout your venue for elegant “Plan B” locations and bring professional clear umbrellas to ensure the weather never compromises the beauty of your gallery.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully. I carry comprehensive professional indemnity and public liability insurance. If your venue requires a Certificate of Insurance (COI) prior to the day, I am more than happy to provide it.
What if an emergency prevents you from attending?
While this has never occurred in my twenty-year career, I am part of an elite network of high-end editorial photographers. In the highly unlikely event of an emergency, I would secure a lead photographer with a matching aesthetic to document your day, while I would personally handle all post-production to ensure the final gallery meets my signature standards.
Do we need to provide a meal for you?
For the Essential and Full Story collections, a hot meal is greatly appreciated while you and your guests are dining. It is the only time I put the camera down, and it ensures I am recharged and ready to document the speeches and evening celebration.
