Wedding photography pricing

Choose from either Full day or Half day packages, or select Custom hours to suit your plans!

Wedding Packages

I like to keep my pricing simple.

I offer a Full Day package which captures everything from the morning preparations up to the evening party, which usually begins two hours before the ceremony and winds up around 30 minutes after the dancing starts.

For shorter coverage theres a Half Day package which covers from shortly before the ceremony up until the end of the speeches.

If you're looking for something slightly different then any package can be adapted to suit.

Once you've chosen your wedding photography, then consider any Extras like a pre-wedding shoot, deluxe album or second photographer to complete your package.

Frequently asked questions

How do we book?

After we’ve had a chat to discuss your big day, I send over a draft contract for you to look over. When you are ready to book, I send it again for digital signing and provide details for the deposit.

Do we pay a deposit?

Yes. To secure your wedding date I request a £300 deposit to secure your booking. This is deducted from the final balance.

How far will you travel?

I’ve photographed weddings across the UK and even a few abroad too. There’s no travel limit however if your wedding is more than 2 hours from Cambridge then it’s possible I may need to add some travel and accommodation costs.

How long do we have to wait for the photos?

I always aim to deliver a preview gallery within a few days of the wedding. This gives a selection of exciting photographs to share with your family and friends while you’re still riding the post-wedding high! The full gallery is usually ready within a month of your big day.

How do we get the photos?

All weddings receive a password protected online gallery that you are free to share with family and friends. Anyone is able to download images, print their own or place orders with the built-in professional print lab.

Do we need to feed you?

You don’t have to, but it is always appreciated and I never turn it down. I don’t have any dietary requirements and I’m easy to please. If you won’t be providing me with a meal, please let me know in advance so I can make sure to bring something with me.

Do you do group photos?

Yes! I’m more than happy gathering and arranging your guests for any group photos. However I usually advise that you try and keep it under 15 different combinations, so you can maximise your time with all your guests.

Will you visit the venue beforehand?

It depends, but not usually. I don’t find it’s particularly beneficial to my photography, as I’m used to thinking on my feet and finding the best locations very quickly. I’ve already worked at lots of the local venues, and I always research the venue online beforehand. I always turn up on the day with plenty of time before the event kicks off to have a little explore anyway to find the best spots for photos.

What time do you arrive and leave?

That entirely depends upon your booking. For a Full Day package, I usually arrive around 2 hours before the ceremony to capture the details from getting ready, and stick around for a good 30 minutes after the first dance. Typically this is around 11am to 9pm, but varies depending on your timings.

What camera do you use?

I use Nikon mirrorless cameras. Currently I use a Z8 and Z6ii, though my kit is often evolving. I use a range of professional lenses – both primes and zooms – depending on the circumstances. I also use a variety of flashes and lights when required. I also sometimes bring along a drone for a different perspective.

Will you help pose us?

I always aim to keep my portraits as relaxed and natural as possible, with a mix of fun and romance. I’ll give some guidance on how to look your best, and also create a shoot that flows and doesn’t leave you feeling awkard.
