Whether you prefer to call it documentary style, candid, reportage, relaxed or real, I love to capture genuine moments that tell the story of your wedding day. To me, wedding photography isn’t about stiff group shots, cheesy poses or interrupting the days events. I believe it’s about capturing all the moments and details of your day in a relaxed and unobtrusive way. My wedding photography is a blend of natural moments filled with happiness, relaxed portraits and fun group shots.

Before I was a full time wedding photographer I worked as an award-winning photojournalist, and my experience working for newspapers and magazines means I aim to tell the story of every wedding in a creative and imaginative way. I’m perfectly capable of organising your guests when needed, and equally adept at blending into the background to capture countless candid moments. I enjoy producing a set of photographs which detail the events from the morning preparations through to the evening celebrations. It’s the story of a single day, captured to last a lifetime. Knowing this fills me with great pride.

And above all, it’s about fun. A wedding is a celebration, and I aim to echo that with both my photographs and my approach. I love a good party, and the occasional dance-off, too!
